Subject: AIX or Linux?
Feedback Type: Question
Product Area: Domino Server
Technical Area: Open Mic
Platform: Not Applicable
Release: 8.5.2
Reproducible: Not applicable

We are intending to move our Domino servers off of Windows but cannot decide whether we should move them to AIX or Linux (Red Hat) - we think AIX will be better simply because it is more mature and is owned by IBM but we have more Linux skills in house than we have AIX skills.

Does anyone have an opinion on which of AIX or Linux is the better platform for Domino 8.5.x, and why?

Thanks in advance.

Regards

Ian
